Quarterly Maintenance Checklist

Jamar Dynamometer: Perform the full function check as detailed in the Grip Strength SOP:

Posts: Check that posts move freely in their guides.

Hydraulics: Check post travel (should be approx. 1/8 inch / 3mm); less than 1/16 inch (1.5mm) indicates a leak and requires service.

Handle: Check that the handle forks are supported at the mid-point of the posts.

Peak-hold (red) needle: Check that the needle moves without excessive friction and resets to zero correctly
